I would like to extend a very special and sincere appreciation to my doctor who has given me exceptional attention, care and support from the very first day I came into her office with tears and a feeling of defeat against my illness, Endometriosis. I had recently completed a 6-month medical treatment plan that medically induces menopause. After treatment, my MRI revealed that the treatment was not as successful as we had hoped for. While I had experienced 6 mths totally free of pain, I was showing no real signs of internal improvement or being able to conceive. During my five months of treatment, I experienced less painful cycles, improving with each month. In the past I was reliant on strong prescription pain medication to get through my period, after one month of treatment I only needed Panadol and as my treatment continued I no longer required any pain meds. This was a HUGE change for me and a welcomed sign of improvement.
